How do I place an order online?

Ordering is really easy! Upload your Microsoft Word document, complete secure payment through PayPal, and within 12 hours OtherEyes will send you an email with your improved text and a summary of changes.

Do you only correct punctuation and spelling mistakes?

We not only correct punctuation and spelling mistakes, but also improve the flow and quality of your writing.

What are my payment options?

Payments must be submitted online through PayPal using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.

How can I see what was changed?

When you receive your document from us, you will be able to view what has been marked up by using the “Track Changes” feature of Microsoft Word.

Can you "rush" my order?

At this time, we are only able to guarantee a maximum 12 hour turnaround time. However, many of our jobs are returned much sooner.

Do you charge sales tax?

No, we do not charge sales tax.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

OtherEyes has no minimum requirement for the number of words in your document. However, we do have a minimum order charge of $0.99.

What is your refund policy?

Your document will be reviewed by at least three proofreaders, but if you are not 100% satisfied with the quality you may receive a full refund by notifying us within 48 hours of receiving the document.

How is my payment secured?

All payments are handled securely by PayPal. We will never store or retain any of your credit card information. PayPal notifies us when the transaction has been completed successfully.

How can you only charge $0.01 per word?

OtherEyes utilizes Internet crowd sourcing to keep our prices low. This means that our tasks (proofreading, editing, grading, and approving) are distributed over the Internet to our workers. Source material and intermediate tasks are posted temporarily on the web in order for our workers to access it.

Do you guarantee confidentiality/do you sign NDAs?

No, we are not able to guarantee confidentiality for every job. While OtherEyes takes every precaution to keep your document secure, we are unable to guarantee confidentiality because the work is offered to a large pool of vetted contractors who will select it for completion. Although we inform all of our contractors that all work is to remain strictly confidential, if you require absolute confidentiality, please do not use our service.
